MARKING SCHEME & TEACHER'S GUIDE
TOTAL: 100 MARKS
GENERAL MARKING GUIDANCE
Award marks for correct, relevant and clearly expressed responses. Accept equivalent terminology and valid alternative examples supported by the learner. For practical/design tasks, award marks for the stated observable features; do not require identical artistic style. The curriculum design's assessment rubrics use performance levels such as Exceeds expectation, Meets expectation, Approaches expectation and Below expectation, with indicators covering technical accuracy, process, composition, presentation and analysis. Use these descriptors when moderation of practical work is required.
